Welcome!
I grew up in Omaha, but moved to Fremont when I married my husband, Dirk, who is a Fremont native. I have been living in Fremont for almost twenty-seven years. I graduated from the University of Nebr. at Omaha with B.S. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Early Childhood Education. I taught for 15 years at St. James/Seton School in Omaha. There I taught third grade and first grade. Before coming to Bennington, eighteen years ago, I taught Kindergarten and a combination 1, 2, 3 grade class in Washington, NE. I also taught pre-school at St. Patrick’s in Elkhorn for one year. At Bennington, I taught first grade and Kindergarten. I also do storytime at the Keene Memorial Library on Saturdays, play a clown for my parish festival, enjoy biking and gardening and going to fundraisers. I also like to portray Mrs. Fremont for John C. Fremont Days.
